The afternoon before the event, the conference hall of penglaixian hotel was unprecedentedly lively, and the volunteers' impassioned oaths came one after another. It was the event instructor with 40 volunteers who seriously and rigorously held a orientation meeting before the event. The tutor affectionately triggered: "volunteers are the soul of the whole activity. You can set an example for your parents as you want them to cooperate; you can show your excellent characteristics as you want your children to grow up!" Empathetic love volunteers are rubbing their hands, full of love and confidence!
On the morning of the 22nd, the parent-child public welfare activity "love relay lets love pass" opened as scheduled.
The activity is very simple. There is no theory and no preaching. The tutor first uses happy but meaningful games to effectively open up the strangeness and estrangement of the people. Students stand in the front row, actively participate in interactive games, get rewards, and parents and volunteers help carry out activities. I don't know when, long lost, heartfelt smiles quietly climbed onto the children's cheeks and the corners of parents' mouths. When the heart was open, the tutor led the whole audience to wave the national flag and sing "sing the motherland" with great reverence.
In the afternoon, students cover their parents' eyes and enter the "long road of life". There are many temporary obstacles around. At first glance, there are some dangers. In fact, there are volunteers for safety protection. Children need to step by step and carefully hold their blindfolded parents' hands to pass through the obstacles safely. Just like when I was a child, my parents took my babbling child by the hand and embarked on a long road of life. Once upon a time, parents' hands were no longer strong, arms were no longer strong, minds were no longer clear, eyes were no longer clear, and children had grown up. In turn, they held their parents' hands and accompanied them through the rest of their lives.
After experiencing countless obstacles, the children gradually become mature from their childish traction. Parents have also changed from the original confusion to full trust and dependence on their children, giving themselves completely to their children. When the instructor calls a pause, the actions of both sides must also stop. Looking ahead, on the top of the obstacles, some parents just bend down, showing a bent figure, and some children are fully pulling and supporting, showing unprecedented strength. At that moment, the freeze frame fragments of life showed touching power, which made people moved by it.
As a volunteer, I stood on both sides of the barrier, protecting a pair of parents and children from passing in front of me. I was very moved to see the parents' forbearance and achievements, and the children's touch and commitment. Some children are already in tears, but they are conscientiously performing their duties. When they complete the obstacles I am responsible for, I will set up a thumb for them and express my appreciation. The child will answer me with a shy and confident smile.
After the "long road to life", the "dialogue between two" link that plays the real role of volunteers is coming. Dear child, let's start the journey of spiritual synchronization under the guidance of our tutor. Umbrella flowers on the scene are your most quiet, safe and reliable harbor.
After two rounds of human enlightenment of "long life road" and "two person dialogue", the tutor invited the child to share on the stage. The first child received the microphone and broke down in tears before speaking, breaking the hearts of parents in the audience. The child hugged his parents and cried, "I want to study hard, and I want to honor you.". I love you! (writing here, I still have tears in my eyes after 4 days of participating in the event)
The next child, however, moved and delighted me. She was the child whose father coughed and sighed when signing in just now, complaining to almost despair. She came onstage in tears and said excitedly for the first time in her life: Dad, I love you! She was obviously in a rebellious period. During this trip, she had too much dissatisfaction and blame for her father. At this time, she showed disillusionment and heartfelt gratitude. I am grateful and follow the successful doctor. This is your merit and strength!
